What does osteopathy treat? Backs and beyond!

The National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE) collate research to advise on different treatments. As part of a care package for low back pain NICE advise on a course of exercises and manual therapy including spinal manipulation from a registered healthcare provider such as an osteopath(1).

Osteopaths treat:

  • Back pain                                                    
  • Mechanical neck pain with/without headaches        
  • Sciatica
  • Sports Injuries
  • Joint pain including arthritic & rheumatic pain               
  • Frozen shoulder               
  • Nerve pain                                                               
  • Muscle spasms
